Night off

I'm taking the night off. I'm going to clean out my email and schedule this post then I'm taking the rest of the night to do something else. I could blame it on the stormy weather but the simple fact is I just don't feel like it today.
I'm leaving the dandelions to keep you company though.

  3. You didn't really take the day off, because you talked to us and gave us a pretty picture. My love of dandelions is legendary, and I have a post coming up on it! Have a good night!

  11. On your time off, you and Duke would do well to go out and pick some Dandelion buds before they bloom. For they taste just like morel mushrooms when flour-battered and deep-fried.

  12. Great job Ann. I kind of did the same thing. Only thing I decided to do a post and ramble on a bit.

  13. Lovely pic! I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds dandys attractive. I know they can be a big pain to most, but at this stage they're actually cheerful, especially when I drive by a whole field of them. Then I don't feel the need to go dig them all out. :)

  18. Everyone needs a break now and then.

We are going to the island this weekend so I'll be out of the loop until Tuesday. Just thought you should know since I'm always over here when you post.

Have a terrific day and weekend. My very best to Duke. :)

  20. Lovely pictures Ann - but the eyes of the bird do look a little strange. There is a magpie that comes into my garden with one eye very similar to this and he cannot see out of it. He only has sight in his other eye.
