Being crafty and having an over abundance of supplies really does come in handy sometimes. For example, if you forget a friends birthday and it's already a week later.
I can't believe I forgot my friend Debbie's birthday. I read her blog post yesterday and she mentioned that it was last weekend. I set out to put together a little gift for her. I made a card, boxed up one of my quilled necklaces, threw in the recycled mushroom can project and decorated a photo mat that I hadn't used yet with some quilled flowers.
I happened to have a picture of her and her husband that I had taken last year so I printed it out to go with the mat.
Not bad for last minute if I do say so myself.
