Continuing on from yesterday we're going to see what I found upstairs at the Market Place. Wade was the one who told me about the place and had said that I would probably like it. After we walked through I asked him what was upstairs and he said nothing.
One look at the stairwell and I knew I had to go up and see for myself. One picture from the bottom of the stairs and one from the top.
Rather than me trying to explain what this mural is I'll just show you the picture of the plaque on the wall.
So at the top of the stairs there was a long hallway. There were several different rooms. Some were for various art classes, one was a dance studio and there was even one that was set up as a small art gallery.
I didn't take too many pictures but I could have because there wasn't anyone around. Maybe another day.
Nice! Especially the mural!
ReplyDeleteSuch creativity! I love the murals and that big fish! Yay for Wade for taking you there!
ReplyDeleteThat was an interesting place to visit - loved the mural.
ReplyDeleteWade was right! What a great place and the mural is incredible. It is sad that the arts are being axed in schools in this country--I feel that creativity is vital for children...
ReplyDeleteOh Wow, Ann... That mural is awesome... I LOVE it --along with the other things your showed. What a neat place.

Betsy
Haunting and unusual pictures! I would have used up a whole memory card snapping! Is that a heart between two pencil sharpeners? A heart being broken maybe?
ReplyDeleteLooks like great artwork! The mural is great!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a fun place to explore. I'd be taking pictures of everything.
ReplyDeleteThe inside is as fab as the outside!
