This was supposed to post last night at 7p.m. I discovered this morning that it was listed as a draft. I hate it when that happens
We're headed for the races tonight. I scored 6 free general admission tickets at work yesterday for tonight's race.
Now this isn't a big track, it's strictly small time but still something fun to do. It's championship night with six different divisions. It's also an opportunity to use my camera which, by the way, I haven't been using nearly enough lately.
congrats, a free night out, hubby says short track racing can be really interesting. have fun, pool duke, home alone at night...
ReplyDeleteforgot to say, i have had the draft thing happen several times lately.
ReplyDeletei found that with the new blogger draft, if i have it scheduled and then make a change to it, the schedule doesnt work right.
Sounds like lots of fun going to the races! And, thank you for your kind words on my mom's passing :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you'll be having a great time! Enjoy it!!

Even though it is a thrill to go to a big-time event, the racing at local tracks is often much more entertaining. They also leave idiots like me with a sense of, "Hey, I can do that!" I hope you had Wade on a tight leash.
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a fun day Ann and that Duke is enjoying a little TV watching of his favourite shows! ;)

I hope you had fun! For a while I was involved with sprint car racing - exciting!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great time. I enjoyed watching the people more than the cars.:)
ReplyDeleteSo do you need a ticket for each division, or are you taking friends? Can't wait to see the pictures, hope your camera has a good fast motion sports setting!
ReplyDeleteAlways a good time at the races. Can't wait to see the pictures.
ReplyDeleteI'm late here - but I hope you had a great time! sandie
ReplyDeleteNow grab that camera and go have fun! We'll be looking forward to the pictures...
ReplyDeleteI know you'll have a great time! Racin' on the local tracks is always so much fun and you certainly are closer to the action than if you were at Atlanta this weekend too! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteOops, I just realized it's not Saturday anymore! LOL Yikes! I just lost a weekend day!
ReplyDeleteWell that sounds like fun to go to the races although we don't like all those loud noises. But bet you will have a good time. Take care and have a super Labor day.
ReplyDeleteBetter you than me, but have fun!
