Wade is not one for doing a lot of shopping for Christmas. He tends to buy me the one thing that he's heard me talk about the most over the year.
After Christmas I went out and purchased this for the gift he bought me
My gift was the kindle fire. I've been talking about one of these for quite some time now. I've already downloaded one free book that I'm reading now.
And of course I had to check out all the apps and download a few of those.
Yes, you did see a fart button right in the middle of that picture of the apps. I couldn't resist, it made me laugh. The other night I was sitting on the couch pretending to read while my daughter was sitting at the dining room table. I kept pushing the fart button and she finally looked up at me and asked if that was me.
So the verdict is that Wade did good this year.
A fun gift, I gave two away.When I was the store everyone was coming in to get one, it was amazing how many I saw go out the door while looking at other electronics.

i think Wade did a super job of shopping. what fun and that is a pretty pink cover for it. i would have to use a stylus too, it is hard enough using my keyboard on the laptop. enjoy reading in it and playing with your buttons. I don't need a fart app, i can do that all by myself, as anyone over the age of 60 can relate to
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great gift. I want a full report on how you like it. Guess, I am just an old woman, but I like reading a real book. Guess you can get these books a whole bunch quicker. Also, you can throw away all your book cases. Anyway, hope you enjoy it.

The fart button was the first thing I noticed! Bwahahaha. I have an older kindle and I LOVE it! No more books cluttering up my house!

I thought about this for my gift, but I already have a kindle that I got last year and couldn't justify the cost... I check out the free books (someone told me they check at least once a month) and now I have a ton of free books (you know, more things I won't ever get to... someday)...

Good for you! Haha, love the Fart button! I wonder if I can get one for the iPad! You live love to read electronic books on it. check with you local library to see if they have e-books that you can borrow. Also there is a web site called Pixels of Ink that features free Kindle books on a regular basis.

ReplyDeleteI got a kindle (just the bog standard kind) from my hubby last year and I love it...I now have about 48 books on it...and it is still just as light!
