The weather outside is frightful but the fire is so delightful
Ok so it's not a real fireplace but I don't have one so this will have to do.
Remember the crafts show I did? My friend Debbie took these lamps with her. Her husband Bernie makes them. When we did the show I had decided that I wanted to buy one of these for Wade for Christmas. I thought it would look perfect in his yet to be finished man cave.
He loved the lamp and I loved the fact that even though Bernie works with Wade every day he didn't say a word to him.
That is a Manly lamp if I ever saw one. LOVE it.... Hope your hubby finishes his Man Cave soon so that he can enjoy it...
ReplyDeleteLove your 'fake' fireplace... ha ha
Hugs,
Betsy
The lamp goes with the bear clock (I'm not so crazy about the lamp but I love the clock!)
ReplyDeleteIt took me a minute to connect the tiny fire with the lamp below. This is so cool, I've never seen anything like it!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great lamp! Perfect for a man. I wish you had a real fireplace. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful lamp Ann.
ReplyDeletewhat a great present! xx
ReplyDeleteA perfect lamp for a Man Cave!!! My brother has one of those...and he loves it!! The Man Cave I mean!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday!
At first I thought it was a real fireplace, LOL. It's such a lovely present.
ReplyDeleteI like that lamp. It looks like it might have been a lot of work. Lots of layers. Hope you have a great week end. Take care.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the tiny fireplace!
ReplyDeleteHow cute. Major man points to Bernie for not spilling the beans. I could say for keeping Wade in the dark until Christmas, but that is a terrible pun.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, I kinda liked it... ;o)
amazing how the macro shot of the fireplace looks like a real one in a wall, i was shocked when i finally figured out the first photo was of he tiny little fireplace in the lamp. that man is talented to create it and who knew a man could keep a secret at work. LOL. we have no place for a mancave, but maybe we could buy one of those free standing utility sheds i saw at Sams, run a long orange cord out there and wide screen TV and i have the house all to ME
ReplyDeleteWhat a unique piece!! Love the tiny "fireplace" :)
ReplyDeleteWhoa, I love that lamp, too! (Hint. Hint.) Oh, the heck with that. HINT!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat lamp for a man cave. I too like it very much.
ReplyDeleteSpring is just around the corner so that's all I'm going to say about the weather.
Have a terrific weekend. My best to Duke. :)
Great lamp! How cozy it looks there. It's pretty frightful out here too. It won't stop snowing! We're getting dumped on.
ReplyDeleteYou fooled me! I thought it was a real fireplace! Fun lamp!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on my Etsy treasury post.
Hugs,
Anna
That is PERFECT for a man cave! And there are BEARS on the lampshade!!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice tfs!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Wade liked the lamp and that he was surprised and your fireplace looked warm and real to me. Stay warm. sandie
ReplyDeleteCould you please crank it up a notch? Banjo and I can' feel it. Look at all your snow below! Boooooo Snow!
ReplyDeleteIt just starting to snow today and is supposed to keep going for the next 4 or 5 days. Blaaaah!
xo Catherine
Ummm...that would be crank up the fireplace....not the snow. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat lamp is really neat!

ReplyDeletePerfect man cave lamp
ReplyDeleteI love that lamp!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I realized it had to be small, but wasn't sure what it would turn out to be.
ReplyDeleteGlad Wade liked the lamp, Ann. I just got around to reading a few posts and just saw your post about Bernie's lamps. We still have more. I'm trying to decide my venue of selling them! Any suggestions?
