A day of remembrance

Today in the United States we celebrate Memorial day which is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nations service.

We cherish too, the Poppy red
That grows on fields where valor led,
It seems to signal to the skies
That blood of heroes never dies.

    Our 'Remembrance Day' is at the end of the year. but we still pay tribute to it by wearing a poppy.
