Have you ever gone into a store and been instantly drawn to a particular item? You can walk away from it but it keeps pulling you back for one more look. Resisting the purchase is futile, especially if you have someone standing over your shoulder urging you to reach out and grab what you want.
I loved the color, the texture the wording. It was simply perfect and I had to have it.
A closer look at what it says
Awww shucks....that makes me feel really encouraged to try a bit harder. Such pretty color and texture, too, I get it why the piece became a magnet for you.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is indeed a wonderful poster, and I feel like I am diminishing its significance by referring to it as a poster!
ReplyDeleteI completely understand why you had to have it!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful - the image and the words :)
That really is nice and I might just have to have that too. So did you get it?? Love the saying on it. Take care.Happy Memorial day.
ReplyDeleteit is beautiful. and i have stared at something and walked out, then gone back and it was gone. you did good to reach out and get it.
ReplyDeleteOH yes, I can see why you couldn't resist. Love the muted sepia tones and the softness that surrounds it all. Not to mention the prose...
ReplyDeleteA perfect pick! Truth comes in wondrous ways!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteA lovely picture Ann...and very true words!!
ReplyDeleteAnn, I can certainly understand why you were drawn to this, I would have been as well. Inspiring words and that tree is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI adore that image and the words are just perfect for it! Understated simplicity.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful Ann! I couldn't have left it either. Lovely.

It is beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteYou should always get something that speaks to you so strongly! That's pretty, too.
ReplyDeleteI can see why that spoke to you. It's lovely! I have learned that if something calls to me I just better get it because if I don't I always go back and it's gone. Then of course I search for another forever and usually never, ever find it again! Hope you're having a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI can see why this was pulling at you. I will have to write this down and add it to my inspiration wall. I agree with every word.:)
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely! Wonderful that you found something so perfect :)
ReplyDeleteLet's see - Give Good - I like that Ann. sandie
ReplyDeleteI really like the saying on this Ann. I wrote it in my journal today...something we all would do well to follow. Giving good. Yes...
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how you are drawn to certain things. It happens to me all the time. I see something, ponder it, ask the question, "Do I really need it?" Walk away, come back, try the question again and I say to myself, don't care if I don't need it, I WANT IT!! Into the cart it goes. I love the saying and love the simplicity of the tree. This tree reminded me that in Jr High I had to write a poem and wrote about a tree, I remember the name of my poem, but not much of the words. It was called "Life is Like a Tree." Maybe I'll try to remember more of it or perhaps I have a copy of it somewhere here, but I doubt it.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I love it. So give good, indeed. May become a new catch phrase.
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful Ann!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, and it looks just like something you would make!
