Not a total loss

The little town that I live in did an awesome fireworks display this  year. I had no idea they were doing them until I heard the first boom that nearly scared the life out of me. When I looked out the window and saw them I grabbed the camera and Duke and I raced to the back yard. I should have taken the tripod with me.
I did snap away though and took a bazillion horrible shots. Some weren't too terrible and I did have fun playing with them for a little while.
This is a combination of some of the not totally terrible ones.
This was made from 5 different pictures. The two on the right you can see the darn telephone pole that was in the way.

Ok so if anyone needs me I'll be out on the deck today. I'm not going to work. YEAH!!!!!

  7. Those look great. I am surprised Duke went outside to enjoy the fireworks. Most dogs don't like them.

  15. Those were still really cool shots! We didn't have any official fireworks around here on account of the drought conditions, and we were shocked that there weren't hardly any of our neighbors shooting them off, neither. Be assured that out little Grayson was very thankful.

  17. I know what you were doing today.... On FB---Pinterest.... I see your 'likes' from there ALOT.... ha ha

Like your combo shot of the fireworks... They are hard to get --and you do need a tripod to get really clear ones.. (I KNOW... ha)

    Hope you enjoyed your day.
    Hugs,

  18. I was thinking, wow, the little town did some nice firework until I read "5 different". Our city didn't have any firework. we had to go to the neighbor city (walking distant) to see firework.

  19. I was thinking how good these were and how I needed glasses - telephone pool on the right? I don't see it.
