Walkabout

A little walkabout at the spillway. It was early enough in the morning that I was almost the only one there.
Check out the pose of the guy on the right. Meanwhile the one in the middle is not ready to get up yet.


The ducks hanging out waiting for the crowds to show up with breakfast. Visitors to the area always come prepared with bags of bread to feed the fish and ducks.


These guys must have known that I did not come bearing breakfast and they did not seem to welcome my presence.


Fine, be that way. Just see if I bring bread the next time I stop.

    Wow...these are really nice! So pretty!

    The second shot is my favorite. I'd love to see it after the first pieces of bread were tossed out!!

    Ann!!! I love, love, LOVE these photo shares. Incredible and beautiful. I wish I was there to walk along with you. Of course, I'd be totin' some bread or popcorn or something healthy for them. LOL

    And I swear, now I'm gonna be quoting Alice in Wonderland most of the day. I too say it with the 'late' date.

    91 and you have no air conditioning?!!! Well, I for one would be walking in the mall then. LOL

    Now this post made me chuckle. Hubby bakes bread for the fish and ducks at our marina. Our dog Little Bit spends all day on the swim platform watching the carp and other fish, as well as the ducks. Hubby spends a great deal of time feeding the critters to Little Bits delight.

    Looks like a pretty day to stroll with the ducks! Some ducks around our town are getting so fat from being fed so much I don't think they can fly anymore.
