Today is my day to recover from the weekend. It was a long couple of days but it was fun. I'll admit that I get a little antsy sitting in one spot for too long but all in all it was an enjoyable weekend even when the rain hit us for a little while. We had a plan and we pulled it off without a hitch. It was like a picnic in the park
Now I suppose the question on everyone's mind is how did I do. Well, I can't say that I did fantastic but I didn't come out losing money so I consider it a success. We've decided to do this show again next year and already have the spot reserved.
Tomorrow it's back to work and the same old routine.

It had to be fun for you.
ReplyDeleteWay to go girl - I think if you keep coming out every year you will get better and better known! Sandie
ReplyDeleteThat's how I feel about craft shows...as long as I don't lose money I consider it a success! Glad you were happy with how your show went....now get busy crafting for next year! : )
ReplyDeleteLove that picnic table photo!
So glad you had fun at the show! The photo looks very nostalgic :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good time at your show Ann!! Love that picnic table shot!!
ReplyDeleteSo was there a big seller - something people were more drawn to than another? It would make me crazy too if I had to stay in one spot all day - but there were 2 of you, yes? Allows for a little wandering...
ReplyDeleteBTW - those redneck wineglasses? Did you have those - a friend of mine saw them in a store and I mentioned that one of my blogging friends makes them - seems they are becoming real popular around here...
Sounds good, Ann - when you don't lose, you WIN!!
ReplyDeleteWell as long as you didn't lose money, you did fantastic. At least it was something different to try and bet you do better next time. Love the picture of the picnic table.
ReplyDeleteHi Ann!
ReplyDeletePerhaps its not much about winning but its more about the satisfaction, fun and the experience.
Glad you had a great time :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you did well! I know...it's me...don't fall over or anything, I have not blogged in eons, hopefully I can get back to it now that both my brats are off to school! lol
ReplyDeleteNot losing money is a very good thing. If you're doing it again next year that says a lot.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)
i love how you antiqued the antique picnic table. so glad you had a good day
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that overall it was a good time! Sometimes it can take a couple years to get comfortable with a new show, so I think that it's worth coming back if you've had some success.
ReplyDeleteIt is great that you had a successful show. Try looking for shows in November and December. That is when people start to think about holiday gifts but stay away from Black Friday show. I had one and it was bad.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it went well and that you're already anticipating next year's show - that's a good sign!
ReplyDeleteGlad it went well! I'm sure that Duke missed you, LOL.
ReplyDeleteOK- I'm off to read some older posts and get caught up on what you are talking about!
ReplyDeleteGo back to work and look back at how wonderful everything was!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteYou pimped Duke out again--didn't you?
ReplyDeleteI bet there will be people looking for you next year... happy it went well.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to be showing your stuff and a craft sale ~ too bad it didn't go better. But at least you didn't lose money. I like your leaf photos below. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy week Ann and Duke!
xo Catherine
that sounds like a successful weekend to me! I think it's great that you get out there and do it! It's probably a lot of fun talking to people and having every one compliment your work. :)
ReplyDeleteI think in this economy that is pretty good! As long as you covered your costs and made a bit, you can consider that a success!
