this is really a beautiful photo. I love the icy wet look all around the big pop of color... i keep my camera sitting in the console to grab for places like this... we got behind the city bus one morning and it crawls and we were in a double yellow line so no passing. it does require patience
Isn't it fun to have a camera with you all of the time??? One never knows what they will see... Good thing you had a camera with you on that LONG wait/drive....
I am NOT blessed with patience either... In fact, I get downright mad when my leg/knee don't want to work... Dang it.
Even worse is being stuck behind a tractor ;-)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Duni...it IS better than a tractor...and living where I live...I encounter them a LOT!!

ReplyDeleteUgh. At least the tractor keeps moving....buses stop a LOT and take FOREVER at each stop. That is a nightmare. Been there.
ReplyDeleteI used to think I should write down all my comments when I used to commute 30 miles each way. Would have been good for a laugh perhaps.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great photo...
ReplyDeleteThat would certainly test your patience! I'm so glad we don't have snow. Just sayin. :)
ReplyDeleteYep, patience is tough when this happens. I've done it a time or five too.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. My best to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
I really like this photo. I think you could turn this into an old fashioned card. :)
ReplyDelete... just think if this was a horse and buggy ... you would still be behind it!
ReplyDeleteLoved your artful girl also - you're an expert with that software ... keep warm, Katie

What's with the new blog?
I know what you mean, there is nothing you can do but twiddle your fingers while you wait for your first opportunity to get away. :-)
ReplyDeleteThis always happens because we live near a school! I usually put on lip gloss or something. . .
ReplyDeleteYes that would be annoying but you made the best of the situation.
ReplyDeleteHere, they usually let cars pass before starting up again (turn off red flashers and stay put)
ReplyDeleteI really like this photo! And the fact that you're making very good use of your time! :)
