Catching up a bit on the Documented Life Project

Saturday aside from all the ambition I had for cleaning I also did some catching up on my art journal project. Another new challenge was posted on Saturday bringing the total that I needed to do to 3. It was time to get busy.

March 28
Art Challenge:  Make a Custom Element
Journal Prompt:  "Ride the energy of your own unique spirit." - Gabrielle Roth

I really didn't know what to do for this one so I decided just to go for it and see what happened. The swirl in the middle of the page sort of looked like a wave to me. I figured the energy of my unique spirit might at well ride a wave. I added the anchors to keep me from drifting too far off.

Well it's back to work today and as much as I really hate to go at least I had an amazingly beautiful day off yesterday.

  6. I love the way you think!! You're not only anchored in life, but willingly take a chance on the wave action. Well done. What does Gibbs think of this concept?

  8. Letting yourself go in a "see what happens" creation . . . can be the most fun and relaxing of all.
