Saturday aside from all the ambition I had for cleaning I also did some catching up on my art journal project. Another new challenge was posted on Saturday bringing the total that I needed to do to 3. It was time to get busy.

Art Challenge: Make a Custom Element
Journal Prompt: "Ride the energy of your own unique spirit." - Gabrielle Roth
I really didn't know what to do for this one so I decided just to go for it and see what happened. The swirl in the middle of the page sort of looked like a wave to me. I figured the energy of my unique spirit might at well ride a wave. I added the anchors to keep me from drifting too far off.
Well it's back to work today and as much as I really hate to go at least I had an amazingly beautiful day off yesterday.
I love swirls! Lovely movement in your art work!
ReplyDeleteYour energy element is pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteInteresting direction in your work.
ReplyDeleteI like how you added the anchors. your art work is always happy, fun and carefree...feels good. :)
ReplyDeleteglad you had a great day off!!
it does look like a big wave, one a surfer could ride on while showing their energy ... so glad you had a super day off
ReplyDeleteVery well done! The idea of a wave fits perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you think!! You're not only anchored in life, but willingly take a chance on the wave action. Well done. What does Gibbs think of this concept?
ReplyDeleteI do like (very much) your recent embracing of bright colors...
ReplyDeleteLetting yourself go in a "see what happens" creation . . . can be the most fun and relaxing of all.
ReplyDeleteNice job!
What a heavenly blue vortex! I could stare at it forever! I like the addition of the anchors too.
ReplyDeleteI love those anchors. You know how I love anything to do with a boat. I also love the colors.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day my friend. Big hugs to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
