Those are part of my September craft project. They are the makings for owl eyes
I'll show you the whole thing another day since the two I have started aren't completely done yet. I took 1" round cardstock circles, folded them in half twice and then cut slices to fringe them. Then I covered them with clear embossing ink, sprinkled on clear embossing powder and got out the heat gun to finish them off. Then I glued them to the owl and glued on the black bead. The little bit of extra effort with the embossing ink and powder was really worth it. It made the paper more durable and the look was more impressive too.
Just for fun I decided to do a little creative editing with the above picture.
Any predictions on how many of these owls I'll be able to complete in the month of September?

That is terrific. I am going to guess 12 owls in total. Guess that is a lot. We can't wait to see the results either. I love owls. Have a great day.
