So the other day I was out on the deck shortly before I went to bed. I noticed there was a lot of lightning and so I grabbed my camera to see if I could catch any. I didn't do so good but at least I tried.
The first few pictures I took my timing was really off and this was all I got.
This was as good as I could get. Maybe if there wouldn't have been so many clouds I would have gotten actual lightning instead.
Still, it's very pretty. I can see the light behind the sky showing off the navy blue.
ReplyDeleteyou did much better than I do with night shots. I can't seem to get the hang of it. I think you need a time lapse camera on a tripod to get good shots of lightning..
ReplyDeleteI think you did pretty well considering it was night. Night shots are the most difficult for me.
ReplyDeleteThe night sky looks purple in the second photo - very dramatic.
ReplyDeleteHey, that's a good shot! I think you have to slow down your shutter speed to capture lightening.
ReplyDeleteI hope you can get to the fair to enjoy it. I always like the food the best!
That was a great shot! You can see how big that storm was.
ReplyDeleteLove the purple sky shot! Hope you get to the fair and have a fun time!
ReplyDeleteI'm the worlds worst picture taker. Terrible.
ReplyDeleteWe've not gone to the fair in years. I think that ship has sailed.
I'll be happy when you're on vacation.
Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
Some of the food they serve looks and smells so good, but I often am through after one bite. Never ate an entire corndog. LOL I am ready lets go!
ReplyDeleteThose clouds are gorgeous!! You're lucky the fair comes at this time - hope it's nice and cool - ours is in August when it's too hot to go.
