Here are a few of my favorite pumpkins along the trail.
I think these were from the school office
These next two are as simple as can be and yet I found them totally adorable.
So if you were to carve a pumpkin would you go with the traditional triangle eyes and nose and crooked mouth or do you like the elaborate carvings?

They are all really cute. I like the pirate best. It is not easy to do! I would probably try to carve something kind of friendly or funny.
ReplyDeleteI tried to get all fancy one year and use a stencil. It was a pain in the butt
DeleteI'm with Ginny... I would carve something friendly or funny too. These are darling!! Lovingly, Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteMe too
Deleteafter seeing the two adorable at the end, I think I like those better than the decorated and traditional styles. the small round eyes are so cute... it would be easier to decorate like the first ones, for me anyway... what a fun thing to do with punkins
ReplyDeleteI like the last two. They made me smile and they were real little carvings.

Being that I can't carve pumpkins to look like anything I would go traditional but being the creative person I am if I could carve I would go with something else...something cool....when my kids got older we painted our pumpkins. HAHA that should not surprise you at all. Cute pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteYep, I can see you painting one
DeleteOhhhh, the 'adorable ones' (last two) are best. I don't carve pumpkins any more, but if I did, it'd be a cat or moon with a haunted tree...maybe a witch.
ReplyDeleteThe last time I carved pumpkins was years ago. Irene, our daughter, was helping. And when I looked over to see what she was carving, she had pumpkin slime under her nose (she had an itch, and rubbed her nose) that was so gross, that was the end of my pumpkin carving days!
I haven't carved a pumpkin in ywars
DeleteWe are simple here. Traditional, I guess. I haven't gotten our pumpkins yet--we are going to the pumpkin patch this weekend. I hope that darn squirrel doesn't eat them again this year.
ReplyDeleteTraditional is good.
DeleteI like the third one from the top. I don't think I have ever carved a pumpkin - just not a thing when I was a kid I guess. Or not a thing where I lived, who remembers.
ReplyDeleteI've carved plenty but have no desire to do so any more
DeleteSo cute and if I were crafty I'd do them nontraditional. Why not.
ReplyDeleteI linked this post to Happy Tuesday. Hope you don't mind, but this is a happy post.
Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
I haven't carved a pumpkin in ages.
DeleteDon't mind a bit. You can link me up any time
Those first ones are pretty elaborate.
ReplyDeleteYes they are. They did a good job with them
DeleteThese are fun. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour welcome and thanks for stopping by
DeleteSo cute! I like more elaborate ones as long as someone else is carving - I'm terrible at it. :)
ReplyDeletewe tried the more elaborate ones once. They're a pain in the butt.
DeleteThey are really cute! I would go with the traditional carving.
ReplyDeleteWe graduated to painting years ago...now we don't even buy pumpkins! :)
