Flying by the seat of my pajama bottoms

I tried to think of what I could blog about. I thought, give it time, something will come to me. It didn't. Next step, just start typing and see what happens.

I considered talking about health insurance and how it's driving me crazy. I decided against that topic because I'm just not in the mood to work myself into a tizzy.

I could do an archive dive. So i scrolled through a LOT of pictures not seeing anything that really spoke to me. Finally I just clicked on these two.

So that is me flying by the seat of my pajama bottoms. Is it obvious that I can't fly?

  1. It's not easy this blogging is it? Sometimes I have posts in my head ready to go and other times I can't think of a damn thing, lol

    1. Nope, sometimes it sure isn't easy. Since I haven't been getting out much it makes it even harder and then I don't do anything at home either.

  7. Some days there are things to talk about and other days not so much. You did capture two happy photographs though. That's a good thing.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

  8. I think I'm pretty much over blogging - been doing it for nigh on 15 years and my 'tribe' has fallen away. I recognize that owl as being the model for the little felt owl with the tea light...

    1. Well I can certainly understand how you would feel that way but if you didn't post any more I would miss you.
I like the sounds of "tribe" Bloggers come and bloggers go but there are those select individuals who become your people. I hope you know that I consider you one of my people :)

  9. I like anything you post. One idea is to treat your blog like a daily diary. Just post whet happens that day.

    1. Aww, thanks Ginny. I think a daily diary is pretty much what my blog has turned into for the most part. Sometimes what happens is so mundane for me that it seems pointless to post it. I'll keep digging on those days though so I can put something here.

  11. That owl is a small wood accent piece that I got in a craft store. It's only about 2 inches high. I remember the day I played around with it trying to take it's picture.
Uplifting and inspirational reminders are my favorite.

  12. Ok bottoms...okay, hooter come to mind now. That owl must be a subliminal message.

  13. First, I love the pictures, but even more important, I love the fact that you blog every day. I appreciate your making the effort to keep in touch, and I wish you would stop putting yourself down. You mean a lot to us --- you say you can't fly, but you send my spirits soaring. Thank you!

  14. Don't apologise - and maybe a little more descriptive prose about your current PJ's - something some of use probably recognise. says her "who is sitting her this evening in one of her very old ratty pink nylon summer nighties with the slightly old lace at V part of neckline..." oh "an barefeet" as it's certainly not cold, in fact it's rather humid/sticky tonight (I'm in New Zealand)...but come a few days time, and I'll be in a much colder place in NZ at the start of a journey, I'm undertaking...

  16. That's one reason I haven't been posting much because I've been in a tizzy everyday about issues with health care. I am so stressed out and then when I get one issue fixed a new comes along. It is the never ending story.....
Yes, we need to start each day with a grateful heart.
