Super shaggy

Over the past year there were a lot of things I had to cut back on to save money. One of those had to be the regular groomer visit. Gibbs did get a free haircut from a friend during that year but it's been a while and he is really in need of another. Monday I'll be searching for a new groomer and hopefully making an appointment for him. Things aren't so tight now so he shouldn't be looking like a homeless stray.

The hair was hanging in his eyes really bad so I did snip some off so he could see better. He freaks when I try and go near him with a comb or a brush but he had no problem letting me snip off some of his hair.

  1. He is so cute no matter what his fur looks like!! But it is good to trim it so he can see. Some people have the sheepdogs and their fur is completely over their eyes, that must be so miserable!

    1. I can't imagine what it's like to constantly have hair in your eyes. That would drive me crazy

  3. I think he's just as cute not trimmed or trimmed and this picture is adorable! Makes me want to hug and kiss him! I always hate when I try to find somebody new to do a job that I've been letting them do from haircuts to auto mechanics or anything that we have to change so I wish you good luck with finding a good grammar and one that doesn't break the bank

  4. I so remember those times when I couldn't afford much of anything. You'll get past this I'm sure. No more mortgage payment and that's good.

Have a fabulous day off, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of lovies to shaggy Gibbs. ♥♥♥

    1. Things are easier now and I can spend a little but I'm trying to keep it to a minimum.

  8. Isn't it funny how they will stand still for the groomer but not for us. He's still adorable with long or short hair.

    1. Oh he doesn't like the comb at the groomer either. She always used to say how weird he was that he freaked over a comb but was totally ok with scissors
