Do over

Sometimes in life you do get to have a do over. A second chance to get things right or make different choices.

I showed you this charger a while back that I had painted. My plan was to put a quote on it in black vinyl but the more I looked at it the more I just didn't like it.

With the help of a can of spray paint I got a do over. After spraying two coats of this tan color and letting it dry, I sanded off the edges and over the little bumps around the edge.

Then I cut my vinyl and applied it to the charger

After setting the charger in a small easel I simply laid the fall picks in front of it. They aren't permanently attached that way I can change it with the seasons.

Now if I could only get a do over on my days off. I could use a few more of them.

    1. Thank you. It's really quite easy. You wouldn't even need to paint the charger if you buy a color that works for you. Then you just apply a decal. Of course the decal is easy for me since I have the cricut

  3. Thanks. Sanding the bumps and a bit on the edges gave me the distressed look I liked without it being over the top. The paint was a glossy one. I really didn't want it to be shiny but none of the paints I had in the right color were a matte finish.
