Persistance

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.

I have yet to succeed at getting a good photo of the moon but yet I keep on trying. I went out the other night when it wasn't quite dark yet but the moon was shining bright in the sky. This is the best I could get.

  5. I have three professional Nikons and I can't get a good pic. Just can't get the moon but if I bought a more powerful lens I bet I could do it.

    1. I think that's the problem. I just don't have the right lens for the job

  7. I agree - the lighter sky is a nice catch. If you wanted to play with editing, you could isolate the moon and enhance just that bit...I can never see the moon from my windows...

    1. If I go out when it's darker I just get a white blog even if I use a tripod.

  8. This is a good shot! You can clearly see all the markings, and I like the leaves in the foreground to give it depth. Beautiful!

  11. I love looking at the moon, especially when it's full!! I have also tried to take many pictures, but my cameras are not powerful enough to get any detail.
