What kind of eggs are they?

Monday morning I cracked a couple eggs into a pan for my breakfast. A couple seconds later I began to wonder just what kind of eggs were they.
 They were sold as chicken eggs but after looking at them in the pan I'm wondering if they weren't owl eggs. All it needs is a beak. What do you think?
