Yes, you read that right I was combing a cake. A cake comb is a triangle shaped piece of metal with a zigzag edge. You run it across the surface of the frosting on your cake and it creates a texture. I don't often do this but the other day when I was making a cake at work I decided I wanted to do something different.

Cake looks great! I have seen that technique before, I just didn't realize it was called combing a cake!
