Tuesday was national peanut butter day. I had no idea and thought that I was just being lazy when I made myself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for dinner. Yes, I actually ate that for my dinner. I didn't have the ambition or energy to make anything else.
So imagine my surprise when I was scrolling through Facebook and saw this.
I wasn't being lazy at all. I was celebrating.

I didn’t know that either. I am hungry and craving a peanut butter and jelly sandwich :)
ReplyDeleteThat's so cute! I love Sandra Boynton.
ReplyDeleteI had it for lunch yesterday...pb & blackberry
ReplyDeletewe did not know it was Natl Pb Day either, but like you we did a post and accidently had the post about PB.. all 3 of us celebrate PB every day and we sometimes have it for dinner too
ReplyDeleteI can't keep up with all the Nat'l Days...but glad to see that you held with tradition!

I love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I can't keep up with all the national days and always feel bad when I hear I missed celebrating one. lol
ReplyDeleteMy husband had one for lunch to celebrate! lol Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI dont hate peanutbutter and jelly sandwiches..but I do love peanutbutter and crackers.. with something ice cold...water or iced tea is my preference. That is what I have for breakfast a lot...specially in summer.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I like that.:)
ReplyDeletefunny. nothing wrong with P.B. & J. for dinner. It is good protein! I put peanut butter on a frozen waffle that I have toasted, then sprinkle on mini marshmallows and chocolate chips. It is divine! Of course, not for dinner, but sometimes for breakfast!
ReplyDeleteI didn't even know there was such a thing.
ReplyDeleteHehe that is so funny to have a day for peanut butter!!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Dr Sonia
