Or in this case it's the early hours of the morning. Sunday and Wednesday mornings I am the first one in. The other day I snapped a few pics while the store was nice and quiet. I hadn't even turned on the lights other than the ones in the deli bakery area.
Thank you! It looks so peaceful. I hope it takes them a long time to sell the building... I think of you often.
ReplyDeleteit is sad to think how many years you have spent in this store and that is is coming to an end. I hope they find a way to keep it open until you can retire. I like these photos, especially the first two, low light photos make all things look good. I would be spooked to go in there by myself. how long before the first person gets in with you
ReplyDeleteI, too, hope they dont sell for a long, long time or that you find a job that gives you better hours. And at least two days ofc in a row.
ReplyDeleteOpening before anyone else is the best. I love the quiet.
ReplyDeleteNice and peaceful looking. Hoping the person who buys it wants to keep it a grocery store. Got your latest card by the way! Thank you! So cute!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a really nice store - so neat and clean.
ReplyDeleteKind of freaky looking with no one in there....lol
ReplyDeleteI LOVE seeing your store finally!!!! Wish I could go shopping there and hang with you in the bakery. You would have to physically restrain me from the donuts.
ReplyDeleteSo nice seeing your store. Must be so peaceful so early in the morning.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. The store looks very clean and very organized.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing pictures of where you spend your days. I go in at 6am just so I can enjoy some peace and quiet before the day becomes crazy. It must be quite emotional for you to have spent 27 years there and now have the building up for sale. I hope it doesn't sell for a few years. It's possible you know?
ReplyDeleteBefore the world has woken up.
ReplyDeleteThese are great. I'm hoping the new people will keep you and everyone else on. Praying that this will be so.
