Since I had worked over time when the deli manage was off sick, I decided to splurge and buy something that I had been wanting. For quite some time now I wanted to get rid of the desk that I had in the cave. It's the one that Wade bought years ago and while it was ok, I wanted something different.
For some reason what I had in mind was wood and metal. I also kind of wanted to go smaller. I found some inexpensive shelves and a plain jane desk. There is way less room for junk to accumulate here and the desk is rather small but I like it. If I need to do any crafting I have a folding table that I can pull out. Plus if I'm using the table it's going to force me to put things away when I'm done. So here is the new look
I purchased some storage containers to put on the shelves. You can see the light blue containers on the bottom shelf. Those are holding my colored cardstock.
I may tweak this arrangement some but at the moment I really do like this.
It is really streamlined and much smaller. This gives you so much more space! And I'm thinking easier to vacuum as well.
