My hydrangeas are not doing so good this year.
Last year on June 27th they looked like this. They were loaded with blooms and absolutely beautiful.
This year on June 26th they looked like this
I'm writing this on July 3rd and some of the blossoms are just starting to bloom. It sure is way behind last year.
Pay no attention to the disgusting looking siding on my house.
They are beautiful.

The periwinkles are fantastic.
I hope you'll show us more photos from next to July 3rd if they bloom!!
Everyone around here has large and beautiful ones. We have never had any luck with our little one. Now it has maybe two blooms. They must be easy to grow because so many people have such beautiful ones. Maybe ours is in the wrong place for the kind of light it wants.
ReplyDeleteI love hydrangeas! I believe they do not do well in extreme heat.
ReplyDeleteHydrangeas do need lots of water and if it's very hot they may need more. They may surprise you yet.
