The latest pictures of the guys at work behind my house.

I think this was on a Friday. A big crane pulled in.

I have no idea what they were doing and couldn't stick around all day to watch. I had time to snap a few pictures.

  1. I've never seen a big crane all folded up like this. Maybe some roof work, or putting up big lights or wires?

  2. Wow! That's a big crane when it's all unfolded. Makes you wonder what they were going to do with it.

  4. I like watching big machines at work - from a distance, of course. I don't much care for the noise of them, though.

  5. some of my most fun times were watching cranes in our back yard and all big machines in front yard. ha ha on drilling for oil...means they are getting to work seriously now

  6. MY word that is an odd looking piece of equipment.
Your grass is very green and I'm thankful they are doing 'their' best' to stay off your property

  8. WOW! That's quite the production, isn't it. At first I thought it would be a convenience for you but now, I don't know. I'd rather see trees than concrete. *sigh* But not a lot you're going to do about it, is there. "Progress" is what they say. Pooey! Love, Andrea xoxo

  9. Yep, not sure about a crane but wouldn't it be really nice if they installed a privacy fence?

  10. Please post another post when they are done. Good to know what they were doing.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥

  11. Wow! Has there been a lot of noise? It surprises me that it's so close by to you or that it was zoned that way.

  12. Wow, that looks like some "serious" work being done. Perhaps its new pipes or sewer system.
    Thanks for the update.

  14. I always find it interesting to see construction going up. We have a lot of road works around us. They bring in a lot of big machinery in.
