Cold and dreary

After the sunshine the day before, Friday Jan 30th felt a bit cold and dreary.

Lets face it, when the snow piles up this much it's hard to see the bright side.

Then at 5:00 when I was driving home I saw that every cloud has a silver lining. Or so it appeared. I tried to get a picture but my windshield was very dirty and the picture didn't quite show it the way I saw it.

  2. That's a big pile of snow! And I can imagine what the sky looked like -- never worry about the windshield. ❤️

  6. We have big piles of snow everywhere. They say by the middle of next week they should be gone. We're warming up slowly.

  8. I love that last image! We lived in upstate NY right on Lake Ontario before moving to Florida, and I don't miss the 20 ft snow drifts or only seeing the sun once every two weeks. But the apples were great.

  14. So true. I remember those days of so much snow piled up in Chicago. That is sweet about the clouds. When we drive to Montana we see a lot of clouds and they are the kind that you can find things in.
