I was quite ambitious last Sunday. After my coffee, email and blog reading, I got dressed and took Gibbs for a walk. I managed to do a mile. Before I went back to work I was getting pain in my hip and back just walking half a block so I was happy about the improvement.
Gibbs was in a hurry to get started.
Loved the Black-eyed Susan in front of the funeral home
The main drag was pretty quiet
Saw this lighthouse in someone's yard
The Queen Anne's Lace caught my eye.
Walking past the local diner, I spotted a car in the parking lot and at first I thought there were two people sitting in it. Had to take a picture of this one.
Then we crossed the tracks. I don't know which is the right or wrong side though.

Good for you for the walk! :)
Thanks for taking us along on your walk. You saw interesting things along the way. I hope the pain in your hip and back went away fast.
'Then we crossed the tracks. I don't know which is the right or wrong side though.' That made me laugh. Thank you.
Ha, that car photo made me take a second look. You came across some interesting things on your walk with Gibbs. Enjoyed the beauty in the bright cheerful flowers.
What a wonderful difference to be able to make a mile...
motion is lotion for the joints for sure. I bet Gibbs had a good nap afterwards. You found some very pretty and funny snaps along the way. The ghost headrest covers are hilarious.

Congrats on a mile! :)
It sounds like a fun walk.
I love black eyed Susan's. They are simple but gorgeous.
I would have had to take a second look at that car too.
Glad you're feeling a bit bitter and can walk further again.
Looks like you and Gibbs had a nice walk.
The black-eyed Susans are so pretty.
Funny picture of that car!! :)
It did look like two people sitting in the car. And the small lighthouse was unique too. And you knew the names of all the flowers - impressive!
Thank you so much for sharing you walk, Ann! Beautiful photos.
Love your walk photos and the flowers. Gibbs seems to be enjoying it too.
Happy new week
Sue
Oh my goodness, are those headrest covers in the car?! Lovely flowers along your way. I'm sure Gibbs loved sniffing them :)
Glad your hip and back were better. The Black-Eyed Susan are so pretty. Cute lighthouse and the Queen Ann's Lace is pretty too. I wouldn't even have know the name. That is really strange about that care. I assume you made it home okay.
Those car seats are a hoot. Here's to no more hip pain.
