The weather may be a little hot to make soup yet but I saw a recipe on a blog recently that I had to try. I'm sorry but can't for the life of me remember who's blog I saw this on. I think it may have been Denise's blog An English Girl Rambles.
The soup is bean, bacon and tomato. I used the beans that I had in the cupboard which was one can of navy beans and one can of butter beans. The air bubbles in the picture are because I just poured the soup into the container to put in the fridge. This was really tasty and I'll keep this one in my favorites to make.

My family love making this kind of soup either unfortunately we do not cook or sip the soup for snack or something. We have everyday meals often being paired with chicken soup with rice for sure which never be separated from our traditional cuisines
Bean, bacon and tomato is a wonderful combination - very tasty.
Goodness that looks good! I'll have to try it!
Happy Birthday Gibbs!!

When it comes to soup, the heat of the day never bothers me....I could eat soup every single day...
Ann here in our house it is never too hot for soup. Bryan says that is why we have a/c. I had that very soup last night with crusty bread and it was off the charts delicious. It was our 2nd time and that recipe is in the front of the soup section of my cookbook

I like soup all year round. This looks good. :)
Looks absolutely delicious, Ann! I make soup, stews, and chili all year round too. I never quite understood why anyone wouldn't. Love, Andrea xoxo
That soup sounds really good. A couple of weeks ago I was craving chili even though it was 100 degrees outside and it was so good.
I'm actually making soup today too. I know its hot ... 104F here but I have to use up some leftovers and some mini won ton rolls before they go bad. It will taste good anyway.
Yours looks delicious.

I love soup too. Yours sounds delicious!
We love soup here too - and that looked delicious.
Sounds good. I think soup is good any time of the year.
having read everyone's comments about soup, I will be the odd woman out and say I do not care for soup. I do sometimes like broccoli cheese soup at hungry Howie's, but rarely cook it unless its cold outside. I would eat this if someone served it, but then go home and have a sandwich because I ike to chew my food
