I took me long enough to blog about Thanksgiving day. That's what happens when you've got a bunch of posts scheduled ahead of time.
I woke up Thanksgiving day to snow. It was no surprise as there was a lake effect storm predicted. The forecast was saying 8-20 inches possible. Needless to say I was stressing over my drive to work the next day.
Amanda came over early and was in the kitchen cooking up a storm while I lounged on the couch watching the Macy's Thanksgiving parade.
The food was delicious and I ate way too much.
Gibbs had a little taste of dessert and ended up with it on his nose.
My son in law brought me a scratch off lottery ticket and I won $20
All in all a very nice day.

A really nice day!! And lots of rest too!
20 dollars is nice, but if I had to choose between SOMEONE ELSE Cooking in my kitchen and the 20 it would be the cook in my kitchen. wow would that be a gift.... the food looks delish, I would go for the rolls FirST
That sounds like a perfect Thanksgiving. All of the food looks delicious.
How lovely your daughter took charge of the cooking. Yay on winning the 20 $! Gibbs is too cute :)
A day of true Thanksgiving, even for Gibbs. 😊
You had a win win day. Not only from the lottery ticket did you win, but just being able to have Amanda in the kitchen cooking for you was another Win.

Yummm on that delicious meal prepared for you by your daughter. That's fabulous and the icing on the cake was the $20.00 win.
