For years I used to put my snowmen on the steps. A few years ago I started putting them under the tree.
This year after putting a bunch of them under the tree, I realized I had plenty left to put on the steps too.

I have a little Christmas lamp that I put on my bathroom counter this year.
A new business opened up in my little town. It's called Maple Timber Coffee. They serve delicious hot and cold drinks as well as breakfast and lunch items. I've been reading a lot about it on on Facebook and have wanted to stop.
Last Saturday I finally did before I headed over to Walmart to do my weekly shopping.
This used to be a pizza shop. The inside looked really nice and I snapped a quick picture while the girl was preparing my delicious drink
I ordered the gingerbread chai and someone described it on Facebook as Christmas in a cup. Let me just say WOW. It was amazing. A little more expensvie than I would normally pay but makes for a nice treat every now and then
We did some decorating at work for Christmas and of course there was a tree.
I was on my way to work the one morning and the sky was absolutely beautiful. Of course I was driving down the highway at 65 miles an hour so I really couldn't get a picture. The best I could do was snap one when I got to the stop sign when I got off at my exit.
Please excuse the filthy windshield.
I took a quick picture of Gibbs and then asked AI to help with a festive holiday makeover
This one I have as my wallpaper on my phone.
Gibbs as SantaJust a closer look at some of the things on the snowman tree
I think everything on this tree came from Dollar TreeI went to Walmart last weekend and when I pulled into a parking space there was a truck parked next to me. I couldn't help taking a picture of it.
I would love to see this one at night. I'm curious about what kind of tape they used to that would hold up to the weather and wouldn't ruin the paint when it comes off.Last Saturday I finally got around to putting decorations on the tree in the living room. Here it is all finished. Definitely not a professional job but it's good enough
This tree is an eclectic collection of decorations ranging from store bought to handmade. There's also the ones that came from friends.Lots of ones that were hand painted by me a lot of years ago when those plaster craft kits were all the rage.I went kind of easy this time around. I found a picture I liked and printed it out. I mounted it on red cardstock then attached it to the front of the card. Then I decided it needed some glitter. I used glue and a paintbrush to add it to certain parts of the picture then sprinkled on the glitter.
It wasn't a pleasant morning. I got up and we had gotten snow over night. It was still snowing. Then I got on Facebook and read that someone posted how bad the roads were.
I went out to start the car, clean it off and shovel the driveway a bit.
I got about 3/4 of the driveway done and just couldn't do any more. This old body just can't take it like I could in the past.
I pulled out of the driveway and headed to work. Normally my drive there is about a half hour. I was only about half way to work and the half hour had already passed. I couldn't take it any more. I pulled into a parking lot, texted the girl at work and told her I was turning around and going back home.
When I made it back home, I finished shoveling the driveway and then went inside. I ended up sleeping til 12:30 and when I woke up it was sunshiney and the road was clear. Had I just pushed on I would have been fine. I spent the day on the couch watching Hallmark Christmas movies instead.
The first two trees to be decorated were the ones in the Ann cave. If you recall I added a second one last year when I bought the pencil tree. I probably should just do one but I can't help myself.
First up is the pencil tree that is a snowman theme. I still need to get a tree skirt for the bottom
The village is all set up for another year. I don't know if I'm completely happy with the set up but it'll stay that way. I still haven't gotten things plugged in so it can light up and I'm not even sure if I'll bother with that this year. I don't spend all that much time in the living room anyway and I don't think I plugged it in all that often last year.
