Some stories just stick with you more than others. The story of Aimee is one of those.

The only bright spot in this story is that the two people who were responsible for Aimee's neglect are in custody
Aimee didn’t get the ending she deserved, but she wasn’t alone at the end. The kind people at the Anna Shelter showed up for her, fought for her, and made sure her suffering wasn’t ignored. If you have room in your life to support a rescue, foster, donate, or simply share their work, do it in her name. It’s one way to make sure her story leads somewhere better.
