That's the only title I could come up with using the word card. I was trying for a witty introduction to another post about my index cards. Oh well I guess I just don't have it in my today. We'll just move along to the cards

What I did in August
You may remember me telling you that after we did our craft show my friend Debbie and I decided to have a challenge for the next year. This will hopefully keep us both motivated to do some crafting before next year rolls around
The challenge is for each of us to pick one craft for the month and make as many of that one thing as we can. At the end of the month we show each other what we got done.
My craft for the month of August was the 10 minute table runner.
I made a total of 10 of them. There are 9 full size ones and one small one. I showed you one of these a while back but I wanted to post how many I actually finished for the month.
Here's a closer look at the fabrics choices

If at first you don't succeed...
...try try again. Lets not forget, nothing ventured nothing gained. With that in mind I'm going to try again to post the pictures I wanted to post yesterday.
Ready?
OK, lets give it a try.
Here goes nothing....
Drum roll please...
Success.
First is the original picture right off the camera. I'm not sure where all those shadows are coming from and the white lines on the cement behind him I have no idea what that is. Oh well Gibbs is cute.
Just a little bit of playing with the picture.
Then I cropped it and changed it from landscape to portrait. I added a little more texture too. Looks more like a painting that a photo now.

Hello September
I only closed my eyes for a second and it's September already. This year sure is flying.
My plan was to start the month of by showing you a picture of Gibbs but for some reason my computer is not allowing me to upload any pictures or even get any from my picasa web album. Bummer.
Without pictures I have nothing to talk about so I guess I'll try again tomorrow
