Beware of things that go bump in the night. Or of silly humans who try and make you wear Halloween collars and pose for pictures
If you see a scary looking skeleton walking down the street don't be afraid.
It's just me, looking for some extra treats
Mom pulled out these old things that belonged to the last guy who lived here. Apparently he liked to wear stuff like this and get his picture taken. I'll admit that I don't mind wearing the clothes but this picture taking stuff is just not my style.

How I did it
Several of you wanted to know how I did the animated gif in yesterday's post. I won't go in to great detail but I'll give you a rough idea of what I did. I did mine in photoshop elements but there's similar methods in other programs I'm sure
I started with these three pictures
I made multiple copies of each cat picture. (I think it was 4 or 5 of each) I layered them on top of each other alternating between the two and then the picture of Gibbs was the top layer. In elements you select "save for web" which will bring up a box to choose several options and settings. I checked the animate box and left all the other default settings alone and then saved the file. You can change how fast it runs through the series of pictures.
Now for the final Halloween themed index card

Did you see that?
Spooky things can happen when it's almost Halloween.
The index card for the day
The other day Sharla mentioned that I would have to make Thanksgiving and Christmas cards soon. I've already done the first batch of Thanksgiving ones. Those will start next week.
