Andover show highlights

I've got a little bit more about the craft show today and some closer looks at a few of the things I made.

The first item sold on Saturday was my stick wreath that I blogged about last October. I sold it for a mere $5. I probably should have made a couple more of them.

This is a jelly jar that I coated with my home made modeling paste, painted with my glue/coffee mixture then when it was dry I wrapped some burlap around it and tied a circle of fabric on the top with jute and plopped in a tea light. I think the tag on it said simplify. I sold that for $3. Someone also bought the little stuffed pumpkin sitting next to it

A closer look at the table.

Marble magnets for a quarter and cinnamon pumpkins in the bowl next to the magnets.

Recycled tin cans that were decorated and I put dollar store silk flowers in them. I sold 2 of those.
Before the rains came on Saturday it was very hot. We listened to the couple next to us argue and then when the storms started oh boy did they start arguing.
The lady on the other side of us sells jewelry and this year she also had scarves. I saw one I really liked but told Debbie I probably wouldn't wear it and she told me to make myself wear it so I bought it. When I got it home Wade thought it was stupid so I think that's going to make me want to wear it even more. I can't even describe it so eventually I'll get around to posting a picture of it.

i think you undercharged for the stick wreathe, and i can understand why they scooped up that bargain.. selling like this also has the luck of the draw, the right people seeing the right thing at the right time.. will you have to wait another year to go back or will there be one between now and Christmas...

I love all your crafts. I'm about ready to put out the fall things you sent me last year. Yes I am.

Wade said what you bought was stupid? Shame on him. Men buy lots of stupid things too. They just don't see it that way. Bless their hearts.

Have a fabulous day. My very best to Duke. ♥♥♥

You don't charge enough - just saying. I wish I was an 'accessory' sort of person - so many of the things you made are delightful...Big smiley face here looking at all of them.

Your prices are so low! I'd pay more for those things - just sayin! I'm curious about the angel and the flower thing to the left of it.

Wade said your scarf was stupid? Oh lordy. That was not smart!

Your table looks lovely! I am doing a craft stall on Saturday so we'll see how that goes. Men are so annoying. Wear your scarf with pride or pull it tight around Wade's neck! ;-) xx

I could read about your show all day long - and look at the photos. I am contributing to a craft show (1st for me) in October, in Arkansas, so it is so interesting hearing about yours. Really looking forward to seeing that infamous scarf :)

Yes, now I want to see the scarf! I LOVE seeing more of the show and hearing your stories. What were the couple arguing over...buying something? You under charged for everything!!! I love the fall Dollar Store arrangements and for sure would have bought one! And I would have bought several of the magnets. Darn, I wish we lived closer! I would have also bought the adorable pumpkin in the first picture. So when is the next show?

GREAT prices! People don't think twice when something is just a couple of bucks. I'm surprised you didn't do better.

I want to see the scarf now, too.

Looks great! Gosh, I think your prices are too low.

You always set up such an inviting area for your craft creations.

Have a good one and all the best to you and the family - Katie

Your stuff looks great! Sounds like you had some entertainment as well with the arguing couple. I can't wait to see the scarf, and I would be just like you. I like to wear goofy earrings (like the foodie earrings from polymer clay) and Brian thinks they are silly. So it makes me want to wear them more!

I agree with Sharla - please charge more for your lovely items next time! They are GREAT!
And now I'm curious about the scarf...

Haha! wearing the scarf because it's "stupid." Love it. Wear it!

Love all your stuff! I'd buy some of it - especially the Halloween/Pumpkin themed stuff. Can't wait to see that scarf!

Your items appear to be dominated by fall colors. Is this by design?
