A color explosion

The fall colors have been quite spectacular in the past week. It seems like they have been way more vibrant than in past years or maybe I've just been more in tune to the symphony of color they have been playing.

The other day when I was out and about I was in awe of what I was seeing. I had to take a detour down a side road so I could pull over from time to time to take a picture. I have a couple that I really liked and did some editing to but they don't really express the magnificent colors I was seeing.

These  however do

I'll wow you with my fancy schmancy editing skills in another post.

Beautiful pictures. The trees where I live don't seem to change their leaves into good colors. They just kind of get a dull green and then fall off the trees.

I went out shooting color yesterday thinking it may be close to the end. All it takes is one good cold blustery day and it can all disappear. Lovely shades.

Wow, those are some impressive shots of fall colors. We just don't get much here. Too many palm trees I guess.

Have a fabulous day. Hugs to you and my best to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

I thought our fall colors would be great this year because of all the rain we have had, but they are saying that unseasonably warm weather is dulling the bright colors.
