It's about time

Time is free,
but it's priceless.
You can't own it,
but you can use it
You can't keep it,
but you can spend it.
Once you've lost it
you can never get it back.
 Harvey Mackay

Saturday was a beautiful day. It was 54 degrees by 10 am. Now I know to those of you who live in warm climates that sounds pretty cold but to me it was like heaven.
Gibbs and I went for a walk, then I took my camera out to the back yard. There's still nothing but dead stuff but....

....the sky was blue

and I found a splash of red from these berries hanging among the bare branches of the forsythia

Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don't wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it's at work or with your family. Every minute should be enjoyed and savored. Earl Nightingale

Congratulations on your pretty weather. I know that Butchy is looking forward to Spring weather as much as Steve and I are. We'll need to get our fence repaired before he can run unsupervised :)
Enjoy the blue skies and sunshine.

I thought I heard shushing when I approached that little home, but nobody answered. Maybe should have called first, but forgot my little phone. LOL

I forgot to tell you that when hubby and I did a drive by a house that was up for sale the neighbors had a sundial and I thought wow that's so cool. that was on Saturday and then you posted a sundial. :) kind of funny!

We've had the same warm weather and I found signs of life under all that brown and drab in the yard. Look closely...I'll bet you find it too.
