So far this year I have worked on project declutter almost every day. I've already gotten rid of quite a bit of stuff. Yesterday while getting my daily dose of clutter busting I came across a couple of things that helped with my daily creativity effort. (That one isn't going as well as the clutter busting)
I found a 2016 calendar that I never used. I bought it, stashed it and forgot about it. The other thing was a little tiny book that you make out of one single piece of paper then decorate however you choose. The one I found had apparently been a dog toy because the edges were all chewed up.
I thought I would take the pages from the calendar and use those to make new books. I have one completed and 2 others the book is made but they haven't been decorated yet.
Here is all three
Pardon the pictures, the lighting was terrible since it was another grey and cloudy day.
The finished book. Here is the front and the first two inside pages
The next two sets of pages
The back and a view from above
The finished size of the book is determined by the size of paper you use. This one I used a piece of paper that was 7 1/2 inches by 11 inches. For decorating the inside I just went with gluing in some scrapbook papers and words. There are no limits to how you decorate these

These are totally cool! And they can be used for many things. Choose quotes that fit a certain subject and they could be a good birthday or baby shower present. I love the white and green!
I love this idea! Very creative. Wishing you a very nice Sunday.
I agree with Ginny, totally Cool!!! I love these and this is perfect for a card to send to someone in snail mail. something they could carry with them or sit on their desks to uplift them... you hit this one out of the ball park, plus you recycled and old calendar. you go girl!!!
That is just terrific. I like that idea a lot. And probably was a fun thing to do. Have yourself a great Sunday.
I love these and have a big collection of little notebooks that I pick up at resale shops. Quite a few of your index cards are in their pages. I think I will try your method just for fun. Maybe just do one each month. You have such good ideas!
Way cool. You are so crafty. I wish I was.
Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
They are very pretty and, as always, I am interested in the process. Why was a calendar used? Just for the paper? Were there pictures on the calendar that you used? I love seeing what you make but I would to see the processes...
Way to go, I haven't begun my declutter project yet! What a great idea, they came out really cute.
These little book are marvelous . . . I can see them being sent in place of a greeting card to cheer up a friend in need of some hugs and friendship :) You are so clever!
Connie :)
these are so awesome! I completely admire your creativeness! I love reading positive sayings, makes me smile. I love all your words here!
are you watching the super bowl game?
Great books and fab way to recycle the calendar! Deb xo
Great upcycling idea! I love your tiny books :)
What a great idea of how to use old calendar pictures. We have about 8 calendars around our home (mostly for the pictures rather than the calendar itself)... I always hate to throw them away.... Great idea!!!! You are just SO talented.
Hugs,
Betsy
These are so cute! You are so creative! We get tons of calendars in the mail and end up throwing them out. Wish I was clever enough to make these.
