Could I look for another job? Sure I could but lets face facts. I'm 53 years old, I won't get the same pay somewhere else and I would have to give up 3 weeks vacation. I've been there 18 years and I highly doubt another job is in my future unless I either get fired or the store closes.
It's just time to put my big girl panties on and get over it. From time to time it gets to me and I need to let it out.

I understand exactly what you say Ann...for time to time we all need to crib, feel sorry for ourselves and generally whine and whimper!! I just went through the phase myself recently but soon reality catches up and I am fine once again!!
I think it's a big plus that you boss leaves you alone! I've had a job where my boss was breathing down my neck daily and even called me on my days off!
Nice to have a smooth flow. i haven't had to deal with it for a long time, but it was tough when I was teaching sometimes.
Sometimes the people you work with are more than you can take. I so remember. Don't you just wish they would quit and be replaced by awesome people. Yes, me too.
Have a terrific day. Big hugs to you and scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
that was US until 4 years ago, now we go to Golden Corral for TG and that to raises the obesity rate
This is not my usual color palette but I find these strangely soothing...
At this point is it possible to shake up the environment? Maybe some change would do everyone some good and I don't mean losing jobs but changing duties or roles (no pun intended), etc. Hopefully something helps make it a little more enjoyable to go to work but maybe it's because you just want to hurry home to Gibbs! :)
I never looked at Thanksgiving that way before...hmmm...maybe I should re visit the menu!...:)JP
Sometimes "venting" helps. I know we aren't supposed to complain especially when so many people are unemployed or homeless etc...so we should count our blessings but I do recall when I worked at my last job I felt much the same way that you do. I've been fortunate that my hubby was able to earn enough that I was able to quit working but it's been a very (tight) squeeze financially so I can relate to your dilema. I like the cute turkey punch you used here but I must say I "try" not to over indulge on holiday meals.
Don't feel bad about venting. I get it. And you are certainly entitled to it. I'm in the same situation. I pretty much call my own shots, so it is hard to leave. But then there are those co-workers......ugh.
Vent away my friend, that's what blogging buddies are for! Deb xo
