So many choices

There were far too many possibilities for today's post title to settle on just one.
"Can we say DUH"
"Know your device"
"Well I'll be darned"
and the list goes on and on and on.

Duke thinks I should have gone with
"If I don't look at her maybe she'll go away"
If I explain the reason for all those choices then I have to admit what a dope I can be sometimes. Since most of you have been regulars around here for quite a while you already know that so I'll explain.
I've had my laptop for almost 2 years now and I JUST found out that it DOES have a slot for my SD card. HA HA, what do you know. Go figure. Desk top still isn't working but now not only can I carry around my external hard drive but I can pop my memory card into the front of my laptop to download my pictures. If Wade doesn't take a look at my computer before the end of the weekend I may have to take Sandie's advice and resort to tears.

Aawwwww...I see. The computers are very sofisticated these days. Hope you'll get your laptop sorted soon. Have a great day!

I think it's great that you just found your sd card slot...something for you to play with and keep you occupied until Wade gets around to looking at your computer!!

Well thank goodness for that ;-)
hugs to Duke!

Good news that you found that slot. That sounds exactly like something I would do. Hope your other computer gets looked at soon. I would have cried a long time ago.
Take care.

Umm...okay. I'm not sure where the sd card is on my camera but then I have a cord to plug into my keyboard/computer. For that matter you can plug an sd card into your cell phone too - well I can but I have an old phone...I think unless you are a total geek most of us don't even know 1/2 the capabilities of our various devices!

I am glad you found the SD card reader. I am a little surprised that you didn't know you had it. Me and my laptop are so close I know everything about it. Is Duke shunning you because you couldn't find the SD card reader?

Well I was going to ask how old your laptop was that didn't have an external drive slot, but decided not to go there. You crack me up.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

I use an older laptop..In human years it is as old as me. LOL I still find things it can do as my mind slowly learns it. I dread breaking in one of those new upgraded laptops.:(

No problem! Now you can tell the rest of us where to look.

Dear Ann,
Go to a reputable dealer and ask for an adapter. I found an adapter for those floppy disks that there no longer are any slots for on modern laptop computers. All you need is an USB-port.
Good luck & don't cry!
Hugs
