Wade turns around and says: Are you going to take that garbage out?
Me: Yeah, when I'm done with the dishes.
Wade: Why don't you do it now. The dog has been out there barking for 5 minutes.
Me: yeah? (said out loud) so you go let him in if he's bothering you (was said in my head)
Can you guess what happened next?
a) I stormed off in a huff, garbage in hand and let Duke in
or
b) Wade got up and let Duke in and then finished his dinner
or
c) Duke continued barking, Wade kept eating and I finished doing the dishes

And the answer is b. Apparently Duke's barking was bothering him much more than it was bothering me.
Oh and by the way, that's not last nights dinner. Those are the stuffed mushrooms we had the last time we went to Red Lobster.

If I had a dog, I wouldn't bother with the garbage, but I would let the doggie in :)
I was guessing the answer was (c), LOL! Good for Wade to get up and take care of both issues!
i guessed A because that is what i would do, but the difference is my yeah i would have said the rest out loud. i hate hearing a dog bark, so he would not have had to say anything. one bark and i am there. just thankful Jake doesn't bark. sometimes i threaten to debark baby.
I was thinking 'c' as that's what would have happened in my house. However if 'b' were to occur I think I would have told hubby to take out the garbage at the same time!! lol
I would have gone with 'B' - a barking dog needs attention and you were already busy sooo- Wade's turn.

In the time he took to tell you to go let Duke in he could of had it done already. At least he did get it done eventually! Our next door neighbors let their dog (German Shepherd) bark constantly and they do absolutely nothing to shut him up even though they are right there. I can't stand it!
Right answer = B! I gues your "yeah" got the point across!
My thought before I read the last sentence was "wow, she cook nice dinner after her long day from work."
Seems like Wade can read your mind.

Oh my. What an eye opener. I would have handed him the garbage sack and returned to doing the dishes. Maybe that's one of the reasons why I'm no longer married. LOL.
