Smooth

One of my new favorite things is smoothies. There is one in particular that I make all the time and have no desire to make any other kind. It is sooooooooooooooooooooo good

Take one banana
1 cup of orange juice and
a handful of frozen strawberries.
run it through the blender, pour and enjoy.

  2. We are taking the supplement Spirulina at the moment in yoghurt but it would go equally well in this, must give it a try.

  3. i used to make smoothies with frozen fruit, i would buy the bags of mixed frozen fruit, and just put them in the blender with a little water or milk and blend, the OJ sounds even better...the frozen fruit makes it like a milk shake.

  4. That looks very good - you could add a little ice and make it crunchy too.

  6. Umm - no for me - but you enjoy. I am always surprised that my husband will have a "lunch" smoothie on occasion (when he is at work) - it has more stuff in it than just fruit...surprising because he eats no fruit other than in this concoction...

  11. Yum... We like Smoothies also-- and used to drink them for lunch. HOWEVER, since it hasn't been hot here so far this summer, we are STILL eating soups (which we usually only eat when it's cold outside)... Crazy summer --but I LOVE it (since In hate hot weather)... I keep waiting on the 'hot and muggy' to hit here... That's when I'll switch to a Smoothie for lunch....

    Hugs,
    Betsy
