Well I'm glad that's over.

Normally I'm very happy on Fridays but yesterday was quite a different story. I found myself annoyed by almost everyone and everything. I told my boss it was one of those days that made me wish I was still a smoker. When I was leaving work one of the stock boys asked me if I was done for the day and I said yes and a good thing too because if I had to stay any longer I would end up hurting someone.
The one bright side to being in such a foul mood was that I came home and worked all that aggression off by cleaning my house. I always did do my best cleaning when I was mad.

Moving right along, I'll show you something I did last week. Thanks to my blog pal Antonella from Quilling, Art and Expression I learned how to make these very cool gift card holders.

I didn't have a fancy border punch to do the white fur part of the coat so I just used some scalloped sciccors instead. I also painted that piece with some extreme glitter paint before I attached it. The belt slides off to open the coat and reveal the gift card inside. One 12x12 sheet of paper will make 6 gift card holders

What a great idea for a gift card holder! It came out very nice!! I think we all go through days when we are just plain mad...I do my best cleaning on those days too.

It's so easy to become rather grumpy this time of year -- I've been guilty myself lately. Hope you have a relaxing weekend.

...standing far away from arm's length to keep from harm's way in case you're still a bit peeved....

Ann, those card holders are super!! Oh, this just HAS TO BE one of many that you make for future craft fairs! They'll sell like hot cakes.

It made me feel better reading that you had a grumpy day, I get those and its poor old Mr.T that gets the brunt of it. Looks like you're okay now though. love the gift card holder.
Enjoy your holiday and look forward to your posts in 2014

Well, I hope today finds you in a better mood. Now for me when I start to feel [like you did yesterday] I can guarantee I'm getting a cold or something like that which throws my body/mood completely off. Hope you're not getting anything.

We well, stand tall, and carry a bat in case anyone gets in your way!

Hugs - Katie

Okay, I will not make any snide remarks out of sympathy for you having to suffer through being in such a foul mood when you so delight in being bubbly all of the time. Please let me know when the coast is clear so things can get back to normal as soon as possible.

so when does my gift card arrive? will it be here before the Big Day? huh? huh? it really is a cute way to give a gift card...or money... hint hint... and i have always cleaned house when mad, i attack it and do my best work when angry.
Gail at the farm told me she went to WM yesterday afternoon and she said by the time she left she was glad she did not have a gun. sounds like the way you felt... HO HO HO and Merry Christmas.... are you off Christmas Eve and day?

Take one full moon, add in the holidays, sprinkle in some a-holes and you've got yourself a swell cocktail of crabby. Been there this week too.

I hope today is a better day, my friend.

Oh I hate those days too, and some days you just cannot stand people. I tell you living in a city being a country girl is really hard sometimes.
