Down one side.
At the very end of the dock is this monument dedicated to the patriots who built in Erie's harbor. The fleet that won the battle of Lake Erie in the war of 1812.
On the way up the other side we saw the Victorian Princess.
Finally because the past few posts have got the song stuck in my head, I thought I would share the you tube video of it

I love love love that boat! Is it called paddle wheel? And what is the tower?
I like those kind of boats. And getting to walk on a dock is always fun. They're like half bridges.
It must've been nice walking along the dock. I always like being near water! What a cool boat :)
The lake is so big it is almost like being on the ocean.I plan on sitting on the dock of the bay on a tiny lake tomorrow with grandkids. Going to a huge art festival this morning.Usually I like everything there out of my price range, but it is fun to talk to the artists a bit.
why oh why would you put that song in my head. it lends itself to the loop that gets stuck for days in my head... i did not even have to listen to it, it started when I read the name of the post. did you climb that tower? i would not... did you ride that boat? OH forgot, you said you were sitting on the dock of the bay... he he he
