Thank you everyone for all your well wishes yesterday. To clear up one thing, I think I may have given the impression that I was still having problems with the finger I cut at work. That was on my left hand and has healed fine. The hand I was having x-rays done on was my right hand. I've had some sourness and swelling on my one knuckle which is most likely arthritis.
The peonies have bloomed and they smell like heaven. Its' a real shame that they don't last longer.
At the end of last year we had a really bad wind storm that blew off the storm door on the front of my house. I think I mentioned it here on the blog. What I haven't mentioned is that I've gone this long without a storm door. It FINALLY got put on Monday. I'm so happy that I can finally open my front door and let some air in.
Yesterday I left work to go get those x-rays done. I left at 10:30 and it's probably a 15-20 minute drive to get there. I was back at work at noon and that included stopping at Burger King and sitting there eating my lunch. No way did I think I would get done that quick.

Glad you are getting things fixed. It is suppose to be in the 90's here for a few days so the door open is a plus.Glad I got a pool pass, it will come in handy.
Get well soon Ann
Sourness?
Bud is a sour puss!! LOL But sour knuckles? [just kidding with you...I know you mean sore]
Anyway, I'd LOVE to have a storm door on my BACK door by the patio. It'd be nice to get the breeze coming in through that area. It looks nice...and brightens up the room too, I'm sure.
I would've milked it and stayed away from work longer! :) Glad you are getting breezes from your new storm door!
I'm not fond of peonies but that photo is terrific!
the new door also allows more light in. i like that. when will you get results from your x rays.. i did not know Peonies have scent. i have never seen them growing.
It must have scared you to death when the door actually BLEW off!! OH, glad you cleared that up, I did think it was still the cut finger. Let us know the X-Ray results! Gosh, it must be hard to work in the bakery with the bad hand.
Hello ann and apologies for being such a slacker. I'm glad one finger has healed and it the other is treatable.
My, but that must be a record for a hospital appointment!
I sure hope for Wade and Gibbs sake that you came with a better warranty than Arlynda did. Sigh.
Glad that you are on the mend - love the door! I love having the house open on nice days, don't you?
Glad you got your door fixed.
I just had a bunch of peonies on my desk at work and on the table at home--they smell heavenly, don't they? It's from my neighbor's bush--I clip some every year. :)
Hope your hand is okay! Maybe it is just tendonitis. Either way...I hope you feel better soon and they can fix you up.
