Wade and Gibbs hit the pool and I went back out to run to the craft store. When I got back home I headed out to the deck to do a little reading. Wade can have the sun in the pool. I'll sit under the umbrella at the table.
I did go out for a bit of a walk and it was a scorcher. I also started one heck of a grease fire in the grill when I was making dinner. That was the big excitement for the day. Too bad I didn't get pictures of it.

Do you swim? Yes, it is too hot to do anything! Except drink Coke or tea in front of the air conditioning.
It's been hot here too! You're braver than me...I stayed inside in the AC!
At least you went out! I am bored here in TX...too hot to breathe sometimes. The heat index was 111 yesterday.
does Gibbs swim? or just sit on the float. how does he like the water? i told bob getting in the pool is to much trouble because i have to dry off when i get out.
The heat is almost over here. It has been bad.It was 93 at 8pm last night.Thinking maybe a movie today. Riders start a cross state ride today. I will join them later this week for a couple days.

It is really too hot to do anything. Just have to sit as still as we can. And drink lots of water.
It's just been 100 here everyday now...opening the car door handle is lots of fun...

It's hot here too. We're on the boat and yesterday was almost too hot to be here.

It has been so hot for so long now that we can't even feel the a/c anymore, tho I would hate to think what it would feel like without it. More of the same and worse for the up-coming week - Oh Joy!
It's going to be near 90 today so our days of 70s, open windows and the A/C off are about over. Bummer.

Sunny here too and no pool (Coleen wishes we had one though) - I just stay inside where it's nice and cool. Enjoyed your sun flare shot.
I'm very thankful for air conditioning! We didn't put the top on the gazebo this year, but it's okay as that probably wouldn't even tempt me to sit out very much.
