Last Tuesday

Last Tuesday we were under a winter storm warning. Tuesday morning I woke up to this

Tuesday afternoon when I got home from work this is what it looked like

I had to shovel when I got home which I wasn't real thrilled about. Unfortunately I'm still feeling the effects of that shoveling. This was wet heavy snow and although it may look pretty it's the worst kind of snow. Nothing like an hour's worth of shoveling to show you how out of shape you are

It's beautiful, but I'm so sorry you have to go out in it, and even worse, have to shovel!

It just doesn't seem right that you should have to do this. Too bad your next door neighbor isn't a big strong kind man...

If it's wet snow just leave it alone, Ann. I know it's hard to do but... it's best just to leave it be. I don't want you to hurt yourself. :-( ~Andrea xoxo

I know you've read this before from me, but I hate snow...just for that reason...shoveling, driving in it, cold, wet, icy!!

I am envious of you ... there will be no snow here, not even at Christmas!
Have a nice weekend!

CheerfulMonk, I'm sorry too...lol

Ginny the joys of living alone. I'm stuck being responsible for everything. My next door neighbor has come over a few times with his snow blower but he's not in the best of health. Others have been out snow blowing at the same time I'm shoveling and have never even offered to help.

Andrea, unfortunately leaving it alone is not an option. I need to get out of the driveway and with the plows going by filling in the end of the driveway with all that wet heavy snow I would get stuck if I tried to drive through it.

Anni, I hate it too. The older I get the more I hate it.

Ella, I would gladly send it all to you if I could

Looks so pretty but shovelling snow can't be much fun.
I know what you mean, you think you can still do these things and you can but you pay for it later. Hope the aches are okay now.

The snow looks so nice even though it's hard work. We have no snow here and it's mild - it's hard to believe.

It sure looks pretty but I sure wouldn't want to have to shovel it! Almost everyone on blogs who have had snow has said it's wet and heavy. Come to Florida!

Ugh! While it is lovely, I completely understand the dread of having to shovel the stuff.

Reading this makes me glad I live down here at least during the winter. Be well, safe and happy. Love, hugs and prayers ~ FlowerLady

Oh that is so true! We had a wet and very heavy snow too. I tried to do some of it but when our son got off work he finished it. Lord that snow was heavy. The moisture is good though, we sure needed it. I Love the snow if I can stay inside and looking out the windows. HUGS and SMILES

I am here always too https://annesphamily.blogspot.com
I think I should have followed their directions when I set up my second blog but it is too late now. So I just mention the other blog in case I posted for a blog hop. Hee Hee.
Take care and enjoy your new week.

Wow, it's pretty but not fun to shovel or drive in.
