There are 2 absolutely hideous ones in the group of drawings that I probably should have left out to save embarrassment. Then I decided to just leave them in because this isn't about good or bad. It's just about the fun of doing it.
This one you've already seen the Procreate version of.
This is the first of the 2 hideous ones. I think this one is worse than the other one. I may have done better drawings when I was in kindergarten.
And this one is the second hideous drawing. Not quite as bad as the other.

About the ones you say are hideous, I sure couldn't do any better! My favorites are the little mouse with the mushroom, and the bird that is all different colors.
Thank you for leaving them in. They are better than I can do and it encourages me to try sometime.

The ones that you refer to as hideous are really pieces of art. I have seen many drawings for which one might think is hideous, become popular pieces of artwork. these are all great.
Even your "hideous" ones are way better than the best ones I could do!
oh frick frack, I was typing out my comment and lost it. Crazy....I said, I love the cat with those eyes. There is something about a cat with that color green eyes that makes me smile. I have a friend that draws daily. This is like his second or third yr. He does his on a ipad. He used to be the illustrator for the TN Bureau of Investigation. I sat with him one day and described Tom Selleck and he drew him. Practice drawing....

They weren't up to your standard but I wouldn't call them hideous.

I don't think those are hideous...I love the mushroom one, the bluebird, and the kitty.
You need to be kinder to yourself. Just be free in you're drawing and enjoy the process.
They are not hideous to me! I enjoyed them all...and I bet you had fun drawing them. I often have more fun in the process than how much I like the outcome...in fact, most of the time--lol! ;) But we are our worst critics. :)
